Everyone at VSCSD is a Difference Maker! Our goal is for our students to be prepared for further education, training, careers and life. It isn’t enough to prepare only some of our students for the future. We are committed to making a positive difference for every student, every day.
The Vinton-Shellsburg and Benton Community Home School Assistance Program [HSAP] currently serves about 60 families and 100 students. The program offers weekly gym time, field trips, workshops, home visits, and other special services and opportunities. Information is available about Iowa law, our local HSAP, and the current schedule of events.
