The 2nd-grade team is comprised of five positive, enthusiastic, hardworking, and innovative teachers who are committed to providing the best possible instruction to meet their students’ needs.  We work together to provide engaging and appropriate lessons for all types of learners.  Literacy is one foundational skill that is our top priority because we know everything in life is connected to reading.  Decoding, reading fluently, and comprehension are keys to a successful 2nd-grade reader.  We also provide rich experiences in learning with hands-on science kit experiments, field trips, Junior Achievement activities, along with utilizing computer applications such as google docs and google slides for research.  For more information about 2nd grade and 2nd-grade teachers, please see our individual websites.
