The VSHS science team is focused on facilitating student success in the data collection and evaluation centered around scientific phenomena. The curriculum has been developed to require students to make claims and support those claims through evidence and reasoning. We work hard to expand student understanding through lab experiences. Courses that are required have been crafted so all students can succeed with effort and sincere engagement. Students are offered a variety of elective courses in the physical and living sciences.  Students are challenged in elective courses and can be confident as they go on in their academic careers.
