LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL

WELCOME TO
VINTON-SHELLSBURG
HIGH SCHOOL!

We are a comprehensive high school of approximately 475 learners.  We strive to meet the needs of young people through a variety of academics and activities.  We offer a full-compliment of multiple course offerings, along with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

On behalf of the high school staff, we want you to know that we are committed to continuously updating our curriculum, which includes offering relevant content and utilizing a variety of effective instructional styles.  To be successful and competitive in post-secondary experiences, you should come to school each day with an attitude of making an investment in your future.  The best possible learning environment is one in which all educators and students are intrinsically motivated to be the best.

– Matt Kingsbury, Principal
