Investing in Safety and Efficiency:
Crosswalk K-12 at Vinton-Shellsburg
Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District is proud to utilize Crosswalk K-12, a comprehensive transportation platform designed to enhance student safety, improve efficiency, and give families peace of mind. With powerful features like real-time GPS tracking, automated student ridership monitoring, and intelligent route planning, Crosswalk is helping us build one of the safest and most efficient school transportation systems in Iowa.
Each family has access to a transportation account that provides up-to-the-minute information on bus location, speed, and stop history. Student ridership tools show exactly where and when students board and exit the bus. Turn-by-turn directions guide substitute drivers, while real-time camera access allows for immediate response to behavior issues or emergencies. Bus internet access even helps extend learning time and reduce disruptions.
