Dear Vinton-Shellsburg Community,

As we plan for the upcoming school year, I am excited to share with you some important information regarding our proposed levy for the 2024-2025 academic term. At Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District, we are committed to providing the highest quality education to our students while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.

Our proposed levy for the 2024-2025 school year reflects our dedication to maintaining excellent educational opportunities for all students in our district. This levy will support crucial aspects of our educational programs and fiscal requirements such as covering various insurance premiums. The school board is proposing keeping the total levy rate the exact same as the prior year. Please see the public notice for more information.

We understand the importance of fiscal responsibility and transparency, and we are committed to using taxpayer dollars efficiently and effectively to benefit our students and our community.

We invite you to learn more about the proposed levy for the 2024-2025 school year by attending our upcoming school board meeting and public hearing (Monday, March 25th 6:00 pm at the Central Office Boardroom). Your feedback and input are invaluable as we work together to shape the future of education in our district.

Thank you for your continued support of Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District. Together, we can ensure that every student receives the world-class education they deserve.

Sincerely,

Kyle Koeppen
